Back home from Turkey. Placed 3rd behind Zydrunas and Brian Shaw.

First event was the appollons axle for max. I managed a 192,5kg lift and hurt my shoulder a little bit. But an Icelandic record and a big PB so all is good. Big Z set a world record with 212,5kg´s.

 

Next event was a 150kg/330lbs farmers walk for 40m/130feet and then carry a 130kg/287lbs keg 65feet and load up on a platform. I went up against Brian Shaw and beat him but ended 3rd after Z and Loz.

 

200kg/440lbs concrete block carry was next. It was very painful and I finished around the middle of the pack.

 

Sidehandle car deadlift was next with the weight in the hands at 375kg/825lbs. I did 8reps. That is not good. Z and Shaw did 20reps, Felix 19. I need to work on reps endurance.

 

150kg/330lbs steel log for reps. Tried but the pain in the shoulder was unbearable even though the weight felt easy. I fought up two before I gave up. Surprisingly may guys failed to get a rep so I did not fall to far down on points as I thought I would.

 

Competition ended with the atlas stones. I did an ok time but Big Brian beat me down to 2nd so no win that day but finished 3rd with one Icelandic record :)
